Here Comes Setsuna!

Setsuna (or calm snow) is the first of our Release #3 images. He was actually my brain child as I love Santa images and suggested the idea to my sis. I have a soft spot for Santa's and love how she incorporated Santa into our line. I really didn't expect any holiday images for this year, but once she sent them to me, I knew we had to squeeze in an extra unplanned release this year.

Found this washi paper in red and green and thought it would be perfect for a Christmas card! Teamed it up with a laser cut sentiment by Island Scrapbooking and the card was pretty quick to put together.

Can't wait to hear what you think of our little Santa boy, so if you would like to win Setsuna, here's the rules:

  4. Oh boy - I see auto correct really messed up my comment!  "Detains" was really supposed to be "Setsuna"!!
My favorite holiday memory is when I still believed in Santa. My brother and I would wake up super early to see if Santa had came and what he left us. "Santa" always stuff our stockings with Chinese candies and snacks. Yum!

  5. Setsuna is so cute with is bag of goodies. The washi paper gives this card a perfect touch. I have fond memories of being interviewed by a radio personality on the mainland in my younger days - told him that in Hawaii, Santa delivers presents to by going island to island paddling by canoe.

Well, my favorite memory is when I would sleep by the Christmas tree for Santa's visit and my dad would join me and sleep by the tree with me.

  10. OOpps I forgot to right my favorite Memorable Holiday. It was during the days when I grow up in the Philippines when you created your own instruments using soda bottle caps and going to house to house singing xmas carols. They don't do that anymore but I so wish that my kids couldn've experienced it. It was truly the best time.

  11. Aw, I love that he's playing dress up Santa. The big beard is hilarious! Wonderful card.
I loved when my family and I would pile (along with all the presents) into our dodge pinto and drive 200+ miles to my aunt's house and spend christmas there. we'd all gather around the christmas tree and at midnight we would open all of our presents. thanks for letting me share that memory. :)

  12. Great image! My favorite holiday memory is my big toe ache I got every Christmas. I couldn't go to sleep because my toe hurt, but no one believed me- they thought I was scheming to see my presents! It makes me giggle every time I think about my mysterious ailment(^-^)

  13. Setsuna is so darling. My favorite Christmas memory is when I started to doubt Santa, my parents asked a friend to write Santa's letter so that I wouldn't recognize their handwriting. :)

  14. I normally don't go for holiday stamps, but these are way too cute!
My favorite holiday memory...waking up on Christmas morning, rushing to watch the Disney parade on TV, and then waking my parents up. My brother and I used to empty our stockings and then wear them on our feet and run around the house. LoL.

  15. Well, this Santa is such a cutie patootie! My favorite holiday memory is simply the fact that it was 3 families celebrating together. We always have my cousins joining us, so it was a full house!

  18. Hhmmm, not sure if my comment went through or not... our internet connection went kaput at the crucial moment...

So, I just wanted to say I LOVE these stamps! I had some of these characters on my wishlist a while ago and then misplaced my wishlist!!! Must make a new one!

My favourite Christmas memory is waking up early and going into my parents room all excited about opening presents, only to be told I first had to feed the dog. I was so cross (being the ungrateful wretch that I was), but when I got outside, there was a giant santa sack of presents on the porch waiting for me!

  19. Little Setsuna is so cute!
I loved leaving cookies and milk out for Santa and waking up early to see the crumbs left on the plate--proof positive that Santa existed and that he was a messy eater. LOL.
