Introducing.... Our 1st Release!

Whoopie! I can hardly contain myself! I guess its been too long since I've been keeping this company a secret, that I'm just bursting with excitement! Sister Stamps' first release will be on July 1st and I can't wait to hear from all of you what you think. Drum roll please (make that a Taiko (drum) roll).... Taaaaa daaaa!

Each image will be sold separately at retail stores throughout Hawaii. (See our sidebar for retailers who will be carrying our images). Each stamp is made of red rubber and is already cling mounted, so all you have to do is trim off the excess rubber, peel off the paper backing, and attach to an acrylic block. We are happy to report that all manufacturing is done right here in the United States! Yay!

If you would like to see some samples of cards and other paper crafts made using these designs, head on over to our Flicker Group to see projects that were posted previously on my blog. Join our Flicker Group and add in your own creations using our stamps so others can see what you come up with as well!

And finally, be sure to check out our Facebook page to get more Sister Stamps news and info.

We are so happy to be getting great feedback on our images that we've decided to celebrate by giving away some blog candy! Woo hoo! Who doesn't like a little candy? To tell you the truth, its what got me started blogging... yup, started my own blog just to try to win some of those awesome goodies out there! So enter now to win a set of our new releases- that's right, one of each design!

Here's how to enter:
  • Follow this blog
  • Post a comment on THIS POST
  • Tell others about Sister Stamps (we'd be grateful but not required for blog candy entry).
  • Tell us what designs you would like to see in the future (no promises as I am not the artist, but I can always throw hints her way).
  • You do not need to have a blog to enter.
You have until 11:59pm (HST) on June 30, 2011 to enter. Good Luck!

Congrats to you and your sister on your wonderful business endeavor, how exciting for both of you.
I think the consensus for more designs would be to give equal time to the boys, hah. Seriously though, that would be nice to see.
You have a beautiful blog; happy to be a follower.

I'm following your blog and your facebook page. I am so totally in love with this series of stamps and can't wait till I can place my international order! (although would be so super excited if I managed to win as well!!)

Some matching boy stamps would be fantastic but I would really love to see some more cultural stamps around.

  37. Amazing as usual! Congrats to you and your sister. I love the way you bring her art work to life and are gonna allow us to try and do the same. You simply amaze me. The amount of inspiration you bring to myself and to others is very appreciated by all.
I am with everyone on the boys would be cool. I personally am always looking for new hawaiian images of any kind!
Good Luck to you both. SO EXCITING!

  38. Just stumbled across your stamps and they are SOOOOOOOO adorable!! They are simply precious and I can't wait until they go on sale. I think they would be sooo much fun to color and/or paper piece.

I think that future releases could include cute pandas and dragons along with your adorable little girls. You could also include boy stamps. I have twin boys and I know how difficult it is to get boy figures. You could also include the sayings in English and Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, etc. You could then give this to someone that speaks that language in their own tongue. I am not sure if there is any company that has those kind of stamps out there.

Anyways, good luck on your future creations :) Mercy
