It's Momotaro!

So happy that my sister gave me these cute baby images!  I was hoping she would give me images that are useful for card makers and thought that all of the occasions were desperately needed.  That's why last month you saw our wedding and graduate stamps and now we have our babies to introduce to you!

Since this little boy was obviously born from a peach.. naturally we named him Momotaro!  You can watch the story here.

I couldn't decide whether to color up some hair on this baby boy or leave him bald.  I decided on bald this time around!

Kept my card very simple this time.  Just did a lot of layering, but overall very simple.  The main focus is our little boy, so I picked a dark contrasting background so the peach would pop.  Sentiments are from a Congratulations PTI stamps set.

Will show you a variation on his hair in another sample.

Do you want a chance to win Momotaro?  If so here's what you have to do:
1)  Leave a comment on THIS POST by 11:59pm HST on 05/31/14; and
2)  Tell me if you like him with or without hair.

We have one more stamp(s) to show you tomorrow so check back again!

  1. Adorable! Well, he's not completely bold, since there are the stamped hair, even if it's not much... I like it this way!

  2. I love Momotaro! I like him bald but would love to see him with hair. What Japanese baby isn't born with that downy new born hair? LOL.

  3. Love Momotaro! One of the first things I saw when I visited Japan was the statue of Momotaro outside the Okayama train station, such memories. I like the little guy bald, probably because my own little babes were baldies.

  6. I love Momotaro! He is so very cute and reminds me of my young nephew. I think he is perfect without hair although he would be pretty adorable with some little hair wispies too.
