Don't forget Leilani!

Our last image share for this release is named Leilani... she is named after Anuhea and Ekahi's sister in real life.  I thought it would be so cute to include the siblings in the release.  She is also one of my daughter's BFF's even though she's a year younger.  Those three girls are inseparable!

For my card, I decided to use may new polaroid die from Papertrey Ink.  It makes it so much easier to cut out a polaroid frame!  I love it! I bet it would be good for shaker cards too.  Our Leilani image here brings back memories... aaaahhh the good ol' hanabata days (that means olden days).  I'm sure every kid had dropped their shave ice the minute they walked out of the shop.. right?  I was famous for dropping my ice cream. LOL!  Found that sentiment stamps in one of my One Little Dreamer stamp sets. So much fun!

And here's a better look at Leilani.

And inside I found this old Dandelion Designs stamp that I thought matched my card.  Cause sometimes you just have stinky days!

Ok Peeps... here's how you can win Leilani for your collection:
1)  leave a comment on THIS POST by 11:59pm HST on 06/30/14; and
2) tell me if you've ever lost your shave ice or ice cream like Leilani has.

  1. Oh I feel so sorry for her! I have never eaten shave ice, so never lost it, but dropping other kinds of delicious food did happen to me...

  2. I'm sure I've dropped my ice cream as a kid, but I don't remember. I do remember getting a huge soda (like Big Gulp size) and spilling it in my mom's car. =(

  3. Aaaaaaaawwwweee!!! Leilani is sooooo cute!!! She looks sooo sad!!! I've never dropped my shave ice before but I DID lose my ice cream! It was the last bite of my McDonald's ice cream cone (the best part!!) and my bf asked if he could have it!!!! So I slowly gave it to him! And when he was about to eat it, he dropped it!!! I can't still remember how it tastes... Haha thanks Jenny for all these wonderful memories.. Hahaha

  4. OMG I'm famous somewhere because of my momentous (almost) loss. So my mom told me when I was 4 we went to the Honolulu airport to pick up my Aunty. She had just bought me an ice cream and I was running to catch up with my cousin when I tripped on my slipper and fell. Well I didn't want to lose my ice cream so as I was falling I held my right hand up that was holding the ice cream and fell flat on the ground onto my left arm. So I was lying there in the middle of the airport with my left arm under my body and my right arm straight up holding my ice cream and I couldn't move. My mom said it was so cute that all the tourists around me started snapping pictures. I would love if I could find one of those pictures. That'd be so awesome! Hahaha good times! :)

  9. I think this one is my favorite. I'm known for being a bit of a klutz and have lost many yummy treats in a similar manner.

  12. I haven't dropped my shaved ice but when my 4 year old son had his McDonald's birthday party, he was about to bite into his hamburger and dropped the whole thing. You should have seen how sad his face looked. No worries, he got another one. Priceless!

  13. Poor sweet Leilani - she so reminds me of my youngest nephew, who dropped his "ice shave" right after he finally got it after standing so patiently in the long Itsu's line - just the cutest sad and shocked face. :)
