More Bunny Goodness!

 One last intro today, means another chance to win!  Be sure to enter today's and the previous day's posts on how to win our new release images.

So our final image for this release is another bunny! Earlier I introduced you to Jade, and now his friend join's today... It's Moon!  Get it?  Like the Jade Rabbit on the Moon?!  The other funny thing is that there is a newscaster here in Hawaii who's name is Jade Moon.  So no, our bunnies were not named after her... LOL!

I have to say that this project was also inspired by Pinterest.  Can you tell I'm a pinterest fiend?  Yes, I often go there to get ideas and inspiration.  Love it!  It also has some great recipes too!  The main reason I use it is to store things I want to refer back to later on.  It serves as a great reference storage for later.

Basically, its a sour cream container.  You know... cut the paper at 5x6", tape the ends together so it forms a circle, tape one end together and tape the opposite end the other direction so it looks like a triangle.  Just like a carrot!  Found some yellow patterned cardstock from Papertrey Ink that I haven't really used, so I thought it might make a nice carrot base.  The green part was just a strip of green cardstock that I cut using regular scissors and taped it inside the carrot.  These don't have food inside because I made them for the retailers, but you could easily put candy inside them and give them away as Easter treats!

Here's a closer look at Moon.  I did a little coloring on the image and cut them out by hand. Then adhered them to a gingham circle and then onto a white scallop circle.

Here's a bunch more that are on their way to one of our retailers!

If you want a chance to win Moon, all you need to do is:
1)  leave a comment on THIS POST by 02/28/14 11:59pm HST;
2)  So are you a pinterest fiend like me?  LMK what you like to post to your pinterest boards.  As for me, majority of mine are craft related.  Eventually had to split it off into different types of paper crafting cause there were just too many! Oh, and the other board is about food (of course).

Check back tomorrow to find out who our guest designer is for this release!

  1. This project is so adorable. I must say, that is a lot of cutting for that many bunnies. I don't have a lot of time to following Pinterest, but what I do have is crafts (of course) and craft spaces. I love to see how other people set up their crafting areas and steal --- I mean borrow --- ideas on how to store all of my supplies. Thanks for the chance to win!!!

  12. Moon is so cute - love that little bell collar. Your "carrot" sour cream containers are adorable - great idea for a carrot! I'm addicted to Pinterest! I have 63 boards and was surprised when I looked to leave this comment! My boards are crafts, food, funnies, animals, and misc. It is a great place to get ideas and store them; I started for the same reasons! Thanks for another chance to win!

  14. I love bunnies. And that container!! I was telling my friend that it reminds me of the popsicle things we used to get in elementary school. LoL.

    Pinterest. Where do I start? My geeky side loves it and I always find stupid stuff to repin. Whether it's quotes or projects that I want to do and know I will never get around to doing. Or even food that looks yummy but I know I'll never make because it's just too time consuming. Oh, and I love to repin hair colors. LoL. Because I want to color my hair again but can never decide on a color. Yep. :)
